Florian Maiorescu
“I paint!… I do it with passion! I’ve been doing it all my life and I’ll do it till the end! It’s in my genes!”
Since his earliest childhood, Florian Dan Maiorescu, who was born in 1975 in Temeschburg / Romania, has dedicated himself to painting and drawing.
Both uncles of his father and mother are painters, and he learned a lot from them as a young boy!
After many years of studies at the Jon Vidu School of Art in Temeschburg, he moved to Germany with his family in 1995.
His versatile works are modern and large-format, and they lend an unmistakable character.
His abstract paintings are created from a wide variety of materials and mixed techniques. He describes his style as modern and abstract.
His balance between form, colour and depth is just perfect!
After solo exhibitions in Freiburg and Dresden in Germany, he had exhibitions in Spain (Gran Canaria) and now in Florence at the Tobian Art Gallery. His work is in private collections worldwide!
