Brief Description: Although he was born in Rome, Baldino has lived and worked in Ariccia since 1982.
From 1973 to 1990, he was assistant professor of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Winner
of the competition in 1991, he was awarded the chair of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice,
then he held the chairs of Painting at the Academies of Bologna, Florence, Naples and L’Aquila. He was
already a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He is present at the most important exhibition
fairs including Arte Fiera di Bologna. In 2008 he presented an anthological exhibition entitled “Denim
and new geometries” at the Museo Comunale delle Scuderie Aldobrandini in Frascati (RM). He has
exhibited in many personal and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Winner of national prizes, he
has executed important works in public spaces. In 2011 he went to China at the invitation of the
Universities of Changchu and Beihua for exhibitions and conferences. In 2012 he had a solo show at the
Incontro d’Arte Gallery in Rome. In 2013 he created a mosaic for the Guardia di Finanza barracks in
Perugia. He participates in the International Festival of Spoleto. In 2017 he is present with the Victor Sfez
Gallery in Paris at the international fair in Strasbourg.
